Weight, Locker, Aerobic Room
and Dugout Flooring
Athletic Specialties and Construction has surfacing for Weight Rooms, Locker Rooms and Dugouts that includes many types of rubber and pvc tiles, sheets and rolls in 3/8", ½", ¾" and 1" thickness.
We offer products for use in free weight areas, for under dumbbells and under cardio-vascular equipment. Products that coordinate with club equipment, upholstery, graphics and signage. Products that fit special areas such as spinning, juice bar, child-care, offices, corridors and lobbies.
Weight Room
 Regardless of weight room demands we have a wide selection of advanced products with safety (meeting OSHA and ADA standards for traction), durability (high abrasion resistance), resilience (anti-fatigue) and sound absorption characteristics that set the industry standards.
Our most popular choices are Everlast Rolls (3/8"), Tuflex Tile (3/8"), Summit Sheets (1/2" and ¾") and Soft Pave (1"). Choices can be incorporated into your design for solid, fleck, border/boundary and accent colors. Logo and lettering inlays can be cut to your specifications.
Locker Room
 Locker room specialties include PVC sheets and grid tile as well as rubber tiles and rolls. We offer products that are easy to clean and that are anti-fungal. Popular choices are Dri-Dek Tile, Protect-All Sheets and Turtle Tile.
Aerobic
 Aerobic flooring choices are suspended hardwood (maple tongue and groove or spring fastened) or synthetic interlocking tile systems. All products are designed and installed to ensure an aerobic floor that provides cushion and allows lateral movement to prevent fatigue and injury yet maintains the highest level of athletic performance.
Wood floors are either pre-finished or finished after installation. Synthetic floors can be installed with a solid color and contrasting border color tile or the entire floor can be one color.
Dugout
For dugout flooring our roll rubber in 4' width and 3/8" thickness is the most popular choice. It is cleat resistant, will not mold or mildew and protects players from injury. Roll rubber is cut the length of the dugout and can be either glued or loose laid if moisture is a problem. Black or black with fleck color to match school colors are available.
